How to find us

The food project is located on Whitehawk Hill Allotments near Brighton Racecourse, on the left hand side of the racecourse pull-ups. (The east-facing slope)

On foot from the north

From the roundabout at the top of Queensway and Manor Hill Road, head about 100m down Manor Hill Road, and cross over the racetrack. With your back to the racecourse stand, follow the LEFT path (NOT the one towards the mast). This will lead you into the allotments through the small pedestrian gate and our site is then on your left. (look for the large red metal container)

On foot from the south

You can access the plot on foot from Whitehawk Hill Road. Come up Whitehawk Hill Road and turn right after the mast. Follow the fenceline downhill until you reach the small pedestrian gate. This should be unlocked on our workdays. Go in and we are about 30 metres along on the left.

Pushchairs, wheelchairs etc...

The easiest access route is the track from Manor Hill Road. An ordinary buggy should manage fine. Sorry, but the site is not wheelchair accessable.

Car

There is usually some parking space alongside the allotments where Whitehawk Hill Road turns into a dirt track. Please leave space for other vehicles to access the TV mast and to turn around. Alternatively you could park at the top of Manor Hill Road by the metal post barriers or near the Manor Hill Roundabout. There is also the car park at the Wyevale garden centre, just north of the Racecourse buildings.
